ODM TOPIC: NO WOUNDS, NO PEARLS! HOLD ON RUGGEDLY THIS YEAR!

Let’s consider the origin of pearls (a person or thing of great value and worth). Did you know that pearls are made from wounds, hurt and pain? Yes! Each pearl is formed by an oyster’s internal response to a wound caused by an irritant, such as a grain of sand. The final result is a lustrous pearl. Something beautiful is created that would have been impossible without the wound! Wow! That’s how amazing your God is! He uses YOUR UGLY MISTAKES, FAILURES, etc, to produce BEAUTY! That is why you must endeavour to keep holding on and never give up in this year 2025. I decree now as I am commanded: That wound – that place in your life, family and ministry where you have been wounded, broken, battered and shattered, shall produce a pearl of great price! Amen! In today’s scripture, we see Joseph in a position of influence! But how did he become influential? It began with a big wound in Joseph’s life! What else would have been more devastating than to see his own blood brothers sell him out into slavery? (see Genesis 39). Ah! But it produced a pearl of usefulness at last! Vs. 52 of today’s Word says: “God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.” Did you get that? Joseph’s FRUITFULNESS was baked in the furnace of AFFLICTION! He named his second son, EPHRAIM, which means “Twice Fruitful.” Renowned author, Paul E. Billheimer, says of Joseph: “If human pity could have rescued him from the sad part of his life, the glorious part that followed would have been lost.” Wow! So, no matter what you are going through or will go through in 2025, always remember: No wounds; no pearls! Hold on and hold out!
