Milton Garland, the United States refrigeration expert, advises people, “Go into something andSTAY WITH IT UNTIL YOU LIKE IT. YOU CAN’T LIKE IT UNTIL YOU OBTAIN EXPERTISE IN THAT WORK. AND ONCE YOU ARE AN EXPERT, IT’S A PLEASURE.” Milton started working at the age of 24 for a refrigeration company at 47 cents an hour (less than 80 dollars per month). He stayed with that refrigeration business until he died. When he died at age 104 in the year 2000, he had 41 patents (DISCOVERIES and INNOVATIONS) to his name. Jumping from one task to another before the first task is finished will put you on the road to shame! Our generation is affected by a “MICROWAVE SYNDROME.” Our Basic Scripture Vs. 20 says that a faithful man shall abound with blessings. Faithful means ‘consistent, firm and constant.’ There are people who are bound in poverty today simply because they don’t know how to stay with one thing until they experience their breakthrough. They hear about one thing today and they rush into it. And then tomorrow, someone else comes along and tells them about another thing, then they withdraw all their savings and forget what they started yesterday. Those are the kind of people that Verse 19 calls, VAIN PERSONS. Hear James Russell Miller: “It’s not enough to begin; continuance is necessary, mere enrolment will not make one a scholar; the pupil must continue in the school through the long course, until he masters every branch.”SUCCESS DEPENDS ON STAYING POWER. THE REASON FOR FAILURE IN MOST CASES IS LACK OF PERSEVERANCE.” No matter how 2024 has been, stay on course until you reach your destination and GREATER HEIGHTS! Stay on course until you begin to shine. Don’t stay until problems get too tough to deal with. Stay until you win. Stay until you prevail. YOU ARE NOT A QUITTER! Stay on! Hold on and hold out!
