It was Henry Ford who penned: “Whether you think you can or you can’t you are right” In other words, if you think you can, you eventually will. And if you think you can’t, you eventually won’t. Man is a product of his thoughts. For most people, their status in life is directly connected to their thought pattern. Your thoughts can either make you live a progressive life or retrogress/stagnate your life. Even though God took the children of Israel out of Egypt, in their minds, they preferred and thought of Egypt continually.

Especially every time they came across any challenge. They never thought about themselves reaching the Promised Land. This made them murmur and rebel against God and their leaders continually and alas, that generation perished in the wilderness according to Joshua 5:6. Another Bible character that suffered the effect of a negative mind-set thought-pattern, was the man that stayed by the pool of Bethesda for thirty-eight years waiting to get into the water after the angel had troubled it, according to John 5:1-9. This man must have concluded in his heart that there was no way he could get into the water before any other person and must have resigned himself to fate.

Otherwise, where, there is always a way. And thirty-eight years was more than enough time to find that way. Even when Jesus asked him: “Would thou be made whole?” His answer in Verse 7 was. “…I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another stepped down
before me.” Oh, the answer would have been, “YES” or “NO.” No need for stories/explanations! In this second quarter of 2021, DON’T EXPLAIN and DONT COMPLAIN! God will be God for you
because delay is not denial! Today’s 1st Basic Scripture Vs. 7 makes it clearer.

“For as he thinketh in his heart so is he…” Yes! You are what you think. It is the content of your mind that is manifested in your attitude, actions, words, disposition and the success or failure you achieve through them. Therefore, no matter the battles you are confronting, Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23). Read your Bible, see God’s promises for you and the power and gifts He has deposited in you and always declare: Satan, you are a bastard loser forever! ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! I CAN DO ALL THINGS through Christ! I shall NEVER FAIL in Jesus name! Shalom!
