Most people God called in the Bible and in our contemporary times were never qualified by all human standards. GOD DOES NOT CALL THE QUALIFIED! HE QUALIFIES THE CALLED! Sometimes, people wonder: “Why should God call such a man/woman?” Oh! The ways of God are past finding out and they are unsearchable! Ah! When God Remembers Lucifer (Satan) And His Pride, His rebellion And How He fell, God Prefers To Train The Men And Women He Uses From Zero To Hero And From Inadequacies To Divine Announcements! Man goes for the best, but God chooses the “IMPERFECT AND FLAWED” and turns them to GENERATIONAL FLOWERS! One of such men of flaws and weaknesses was Moses. Moses couldn’t believe that God could ever look in his direction because of his many flaws and inadequacies! Then he started making excuses: “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, I am slow of speech and slow of tongue,” etc – (Vs. 10 of today’s scripture). Moses was saying (paraphrased): “LORD, You don’t really know me! You are asking me to go and talk to the dreaded Pharaoh; I cannot even talk in the first place.” Then, God replied him: “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? (Vs. 11 of today’s word). Wow! God, was saying to Moses (paraphrased): “I am the one who qualifies the unqualified. I can use anything and anybody I choose. If I asked you to do something, it means I have taken care of the odds and limitations, and nothing can stop you” – see Vs. 12. The Holy Ghost wants you to know that God can use everything in your life and around you to execute His end-time plan. STOP LOOKING DOWN ON YOURSELF! YOU SEE SCARS BUT GOD SEES STARS IN YOU! Even the things you call mistakes can be divine tools in the Potter’s Hand. Get ready because something awesome is coming out of you!
