Marcin Wojnar, a researcher at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and the Medical University of Poland recently discovered that people who suffer chronic sleep problems are more likely to think about suicide or actually try to kill themselves.

Reseachers told a conference that, the more types of sleep disturbances a person had — such as waking up too early, difficulty falling asleep or lying awake at night, increases the odds of suicidal thoughts, planning a suicide, or attempting it. Also, according to the World Health Organization, some 877,000 people worldwide kill themselves each year.
And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that Satan wants to steal, kill and destroy your life and the only way he can start it is to withdraw your sleep through worry, depression, self-hatred, bitterness, inferiority complex or acute anxiety. Today’s 2nd scripture vs. 6 says: “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

The Amplified blows it up: “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.” Worrying/fear does not win battles! Worrying wears you down! Instead of worrying, Continue To Make Your Wants Known To God. Psalm 127: 2 says God gives His beloved sleep! Psalm 121 says God does not slumber so that you can sleep!
Sometimes, until you sleep (Relax totally over an issue), God will not wake up on that case. Adam had to sleep for Eve to rise out ofhim! Your “Eve” (Breakthrough/next level) will not show up till you go to sleep! Listen to Adam Lindsay Gordon: “Two things are written in stone (1). Kindness in another’s troubles. (2.) Courage in your own.”
So as 2025 progresses, resist worry and tell the devil he cannot take away your sleep. Tell him you will not die and you will not quit trusting Jehovah now!
