Many years ago, a Greek philosopher said, “The voice of the people is the voice of God.” If the story of Gideon is true, then that Greek philosopher was wrong! The voice of the people is not always the voice of God, ESPECIALLY IF THOSE PEOPLE ARE NOT ON GOD’S SIDE! A s 2024 ends, you must understand that no matter the crowd of the people against you, if God is with you, YOU ARE MORE THAN MANY CONQUERORS! Victory in life does not always go to the army that has more soldiers! Hear King Solomon, “the horse is prepared against the day of battle, but victory is of the Lord” (Proverbs 21:31). Notice what God told Gideon in today’s scripture, Verse 2: “The people that are with you are too many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands…” God cannot be limited by numbers! He is not restricted by the number of people that like you or hate you! The only thing that counts with Him is your faith in HIM! That is why you must resolve to HOLD ON TO HIM concerning that/those issue(issues) that is/are affecting your peace! Out of thirty two thousand soldiers that wanted to fight the Midianites, 22,000 were fearful and afraid! No wonder God could not use them! Choose FAITH IN GOD! Choose to believe God and hold on to His Word! He never fails, and if He never fails, YOU TOO WILL NOT FAIL! The “God Of 300” Is Your God! He Is able! He Will Never Allow You To End In Shame! Trust Him!
