Never worry about the delay in success compared to others because the construction of WONDERS and architectural masterpieces take more time than ordinary buildings. Delay means to cause to be later or slower than expected or desired. Delay is not a denial. It is only postponed success. That’s why today’s 2nd scripture vs. 3 says: “… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come.” That is why you must never run ahead of God. He is the author of your life’s story – past, present, and future. His timing is always perfect. God resides in the delays. Let’s face it; waiting isn’t fun. Yet life is filled with waiting, isn’t it? And often, that waiting — whether it’s for something little like getting through a traffic jam, waiting for a life partner or fruit of the womb after marriage, waiting in the line at the grocery store, or something big like test results from the doctor, etc,–can be hard. And sometimes, the hardest thing to wait for in life is an answer to a prayer. But one thing that can really help if you’re in that place of waiting—that place that sometimes feels like forever – is taking a few minutes to remember the times God has been faithful. Remembering all the times God has answered your prayers can remind you that He is still there and that He will act if and when necessary by a miracle. Why did He delay the best wine for the last (John 2:10)? Why did He wait till Lazarus died before taking a step? Always remember that delay is better than error! And concerning your enemies, never forget that “delay in vengeance gives a deadlier blow” (John Ford). Delay is only postponed success! God is faithful and He will do the unusual and put a new song in your mouth in 2025! Hold on and hold out! ODM FOR TODAY 30th May 2025
