What happens after you win a great victory and the devil is put to shame in your life? What happens after you receive that healing that you have been trusting God for? Will the devil just sit back and cry his eyes out? NO WAY! He is not like that. He will go back into his camp and regroup. He will plan a fresh attack. In Luke 4, Jesus was in the wilderness fasting and fellowshipping with God. After that, He was tempted by the devil and He overcame the devil again and again. After a SERIES OF UNENDING LOSSES, THE DEVIL LEFT JESUS ALONE. Hear what Verse 13 says, “And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from Him for a season.” Note: FOR A SEASON… So, the devil did not leave Jesus PERMANENTLY. He came back again and again. The Holy Ghost is speaking to a user of today’s devotional: “THE DEVIL WILL COME BACK…” But I am happy that there is more to what He is saying: “BUT WHEN HE COMES BACK, HE WILL BE DEFEATED AND DISGRACED AGAIN AND AGAIN.” Oh, I feel like dancing on this writing table! If The Devil Could Not Defeat Jesus, He Cannot Defeat You! Just Watch And Pray And Never Let Off Your Guard! You must be ready to stand strong and stand firm against him. Hear the words of Paul in Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day.” Arm yourself with the Word of God today! BE VIGILANT ALWAYS! WATCH! WATCH! WATCH! Your ARCH ENEMY, THE DEVIL, WILL RETURN! But you will sing a victory song always! Amen!
