Heaven wants you to know that failure is a universal experience! It is not limited to North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Antartica or your life in particular! Please note that 90% of all Success is built on former failure! Lives of great men considered as geniuses and successes, were bugged by failures and disappointments! Never forget Abraham Lincoln who failed and failed, but refused to believe that he was a failure! Alwaystell yourself: “I am not a failure. I may have failed at doing some things, but there is a difference between failure as an event and failure as a person.” Did you get that? At 86, Abraham out of haste, produced Ishmael. That did not mean he was a failure! The birth of Ishmael was only a mistake; an event which produced the current Arab world! Did Abraham not rise from it? Please always separate the person from the event! You may fail in something (an event), but that event is not you! One of the greatest stars of musical composition that ever lived, Mr. Wolfgang Mozart, was told by Emperor Ferdinand that his first opera, “The Marriage of Figaro,” was “too noisy” and “contained too many notes,” yet out of that failure, he became a star! Do you know that the great artist, Vincent Van Gogh, whose paintings are now surprisingly in great demand all over Europe, sold just one painting in his lifetime? King Sunny Ade, a great secular Nigeria musician, sold only 6 copies of his first album! The 1st edition of this devotional sold only 50 copies! 1 had to borrow money to print the 2nd edition. I felt dejected but violently refused to give up and by the grace of God, we are today reaching out daily to thousands through print and online! Always separate your mistakes and failures from yourself! All great achievers were given multiple reasons to believe they were failures, but in spite of that, they persisted! Vernon Sandone affirmed the following truth: “Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterwards.” No matter how the year has been, never accept you are a failure! Learn the lessons, get the experience and move on to the shame of the devil!
