Welcome! Vs. 9 of today’s 1st scripture says: “And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.” Then Luke 23:21 affirmed: “But they cried, saying, ‘Crucify Him, crucify Him.” Wow! The Holy Ghost wants you to know that it is those who often sing your praise that will be the first to condemn you or cast stones at you. You must learn to manage fame and the praises of men as you go out daily or as you work for God! The worst mistake anyone can make, would be to trust in the praises and affirmation of men. People can be unreliable and deceptive. The same people that shouted “HOSANNA to the Son of David,” echoed “CRUCIFY HIM, CRUCIFY HIM!” In this year 2024, don’t be double-tongued and don’t fall for it. Those who are praise-hungry are often victims of gainsayers. Many praise singers will sing your praise as long as there is something they stand to gain or benefit from you, but let the tide shift, and they will deny you. Dear Pastor, don’t allow the praises of your members and admirers to get into your head. Sometimes, those who criticize you the most, love you the most than those who will praise you to your grave! Same applies to CEOs and everyone! As you navigate through life and indeed through 2024, beware of praise singers. In every “Hosanna”, there is “Crucify Him, Crucify Him.” Be wise!
