As a pharmacist-turned-prophetic writer and pastor, with experience spanning over a quarter of a century BY HIS GRACE, there is one thing I know: The narration of a story can change as you write from one page to another. But there is one part called a “theme” (focus) or a “hook.” No matter the amount of words I decide to use to tell the story, my theme/ focus will not change! Take “honesty” as the theme of a story for example. Say a man was pressured to lie, but against all odds he refused and was rewarded greatly. The story may be set in a village, in a city, in the market, on a plane or bus, etc. The man might be black or white, slim or short. But the theme of honesty, that he refused to lie and was rewarded greatly, will not change! No wonder C.S. Lewis penned: “When God writes the story, even the darkest chapters lead to the light of victory!” Jeremiah 29:11 says: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ saith the Lord, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Catch this: God, the ultimate Writer, has written the theme of your story/life purpose! Every challenge you are allowed to go through will end in your “expected end.” That is the “hook,” “the theme” of your life! He says He has written your end from the beginning! Hear Max Lucado: “God never starts a story He hasn’t already finished in victory.” No matter the battles, storms, or delays, etc, the end of the book of your life/ministry has been written! It is victory! Victory!! Victory!!! Hallelujah! Oh! Just hold on and hold out! ODM TODAY 3rd August 2025

Thank you for this wonderful message. I wish to get a clarification on this quote in the passage, “God never starts a story He hasn’t already finished in victory.”
My question is what about the stories about characters in the bible like saul, Esau, Judas and today many peoples story that ended in a loss and shame but not victory, or this is for selected people
