Mohammed Ali is a name that has become a puzzle in the boxing world. Though he is deceased, he brought class and colour into boxing in his era. When asked during an interview on how he was able to cause a revolution in the boxing industry such that people flocked to see his fights, his reply was, “You see, I learnt a long time ago that being good was simply not good enough. You’ve got to have imagination and you’ve got to dream.” That is God’s message to a soul using this devotional today! No matter how this year has been so far, and no matter the trial(s) you may be passing through right now, never lose your ability to imagine! As long as there is life, there is hope and as long as you can still plan again, dream again and imagine where you are going and where you want to be, you are a success waiting to happen! Success happens inside a man before it shines on the outside! Everyone is born with the ability/power to imagine things! Use your imagination to create! Genesis 11:6 says, “Nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” That is the power of imagination! Don’t allow the devil to sow seeds of discouragement in your engine room – your mind! Resist him! The greatness of your dreams is a proof that you cannot accomplish them without God! Plan big! Imagine big things! Pray big and trust big! Plant your dreams deep, water them daily with your daily prophetic declarations and don’t let the weeds of doubt, confusion, self-pity and depression choke it! You are capable of unbelievable things if you allow your mind to soar! Never forget what Dexter Yager said: “If the dream is big enough, the facts on ground don’t matter.” Plan big! Dream big!
