MY SUN IS RISING AGAIN! RES JUDICATA!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: ISAIAH 43: 16-19; MALACHI 4: 1-3

Welcome to my LAW SCHOOL TODAY! I am led to remind you again of the principle of Res Judicata (RJ, also known as Claim Preclusion), which is the Latin term for “A matter that has been adjudicated on its merits by a competent court may not be pursued further by the same parties.”

Also, it means a case in which there has been a final judgment and is no longer subject to appeal. It also means that LITIGATION (a court case) cannot go on forever! It must have an end! In the same vein, there is the spiritual dimension of Res Judicata which was once written in this devotional. I am led to repeat it for the sake of someone I don’t know!

Listen: Jesus Christ has concluded your case on the cross of Calvary when He said, “IT IS FINISHED.” Jesus atonement for sin and for man’s justification, freedom and restoration was once and for all and there has been no need for another atonement, and the devil cannot appeal it in any spiritual court! Res Judicata: YOUR CASE WAS DECIDED AND CONCLUDED ON THE CROSS!

The Lord is showing me people who are FEELING GUILTY CONCERNING THEIR PAST ACTIONS, MISTAKES, DECISIONS OR FAILURES, etc. And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that, no matter how your life and the year has been, your destiny has been concluded and there is nothing the devil can do about it unless you give him the power. FORGET THE PAST!

Scream: RES JUDICATA to the devil every day! The LORD says: I SHALL DO A NEW THING because I have given you another chance (Isaiah 43:19)! Oh, I feel like dancing! He is the God of ANOTHER CHANCE!
So when the devil uses your mind to bring REGRETS, tell Him THE PAST IS PAST! Catch this: “Little faith is enough to see the mountains of sin but not enough to see that Sun of Righteousness that shall arise over them” (Ralph Bouma). I see the SUN RISING AGAIN (Malachi 4: 2)!

I reject self condemnation and self pity because MY SUN IS RISING AGAIN.
Oh God of a SECOND CHANCE, give me another chance! I shall start again! I refuse to weep or mourn! My LATTER DAYS will be greater than my FORMER DAYS (Pray it for 3 days-3 times daily)…
