TOPIC: THE SONG I SANG IN MY SCHOOL ASSEMBLY!

Many years ago, I remember singing this ageless song: “GREAT IS THY FAITHFULESS” in the usual secondary school morning assembly prayers: “Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided, Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!” Wow! Ageless! God’s faithfulness – new every morning! All I have needed Thy hands hath provided! That will be your story! When the faithfulness of God shows up, mountains skip as calves, demons tremble, hell becomes nervous, enemies surrender at will by force, and the miraculous and the extraordinary happens! Oh! God is FAITH -FULL even when you are unfaithful. He is FAITH – FULL in spite of your wrongs, mistakes and sins. Your faith has boundaries, your faith is limited, but He is is unlimited. He is FAITH – FULL even when your faith fails. JUST BELIEVE THAT GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS! Close with Psalm 89:1-2: “I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known Thy faithfulness to all generations. Thy faithfulness will Thou establish in the very heavens.” Then Isaiah 11:5 says: “And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and faithfulness the girdle of His reins.” Now lift up your voice and begin to thank the Lord for His faithfulness towards your life, family and ministry. In this 2nd half of 2024, let your faith in the LORD be unwavering! You shall not be moved! YOU WILL NEVER END IN SHAME AND YOU WILL NOT FAIL! God’s faithfulness is the constant in the equation! Hold on and hold out! Halleluiah! ONE NIGERIA ONE ODM!
