That kind of diligent mindset is the mind you and I have to develop. No wonder Abigail Adams said: “Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardour and diligence.”

This is 3am and I am on my writing desk even when I know many of my collegaues are sleeping now! Oh! You must ask for the GRACE FOR THE EXTRA MILE of hard work more than your friends are doing!

Do you know that we magnify our priesthood and enlarge our calling when we serve with diligence and enthusiasm in those responsibilities to which we are called by proper authority?
Hear Benjamin Disraeli: “Diligence is the mother of good fortune.” That is what today’s scripture is hitting at! I have always loved Israelmore Ayivor: “To become a better you, be diligent and never let the charms of procrastination and excuses seduce you to fall for mediocrity.”
