Welcome! A frustrated home owner had a yard full of moles (rodents like rats). He tried everything he knew to defeat his “underground enemies,” but he was losing the battle. Finally, a friend informed him that he was trying to solve his problem the wrong way. The moles (rats) weren’t the true culprits. The real problem were the grubs (insects) that the moles were feeding on. “Get rid of them and the moles would have no reason to stay.” Did you get that? “GET RID OF THE GRUBS (insects) AND THE MOLES (rats) WOULD HAVE NO REASON TO STAY.” The house owner was focusing on killing the moles instead of getting rid of what was inviting the moles. This is the reason why many become victims of the battles of life. They major on the minor! One of the keys to solving problems is by attacking it from the root. If you can detect, discover and locate the root cause, then the problem is halfsolved. Fear and panic arises most times when you are oblivious of the solution to the problem. You can eliminate your fears only by attacking the “grubs” (insects) that attract the mole (rats). Another key to problem solving is by a strong application of divine wisdom and understanding! As 2024 ends, you must make wise decisions based on God’s Word and build a love-trust relationship with Jesus.
