Excuses and complaints flow when men take their eyes off what they have and focus it on what they lack. The question that God asked Moses was a simple one and that’s the same question He is directing to you today: “What do you have in your hand?” For more than forty years, Moses travelled the plains of Sinai leading the lambs of his father-in-law with a rod. Little did he realise that, that rod was going to be instrumental to the deliverance of the people of God from the house of bondage. To Moses, it was a shepherd’s rod, but to God, it was a weapon of war. What is it that you have in your hand that you have been despising? You need to settle this once and for all: YOU ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT! I love the way Max Lucado puts it: “You weren’t an accident, You weren’t mass produced. You aren’t an assemblyline product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on the Earth by the Master Craftsman.” Don’t try to squeeze yourself into the mould of others. Become the best that you were born to be! Become all that God has destined you to be. Find out what you have in your hands and learn to use it to deliver the miracle that you desire. Get rid of all limited thinking. Get rid of all negative expectations/FEAR! The God who is with you is more than enough and WHAT IS IN YOUR HANDS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH. Go and win!
