How have you been since the year began? Get blessed today! In line with a piece from Abolade Olatunde, and as a writer/publisher, I know that life can be likened to a book and we are all writing something every day! Yes, you may not write ODM like me, but you are an author of an unseen book! Truth about such a book is that, the writer/author never gets to read a complete version of that book. The first page starts from birth! The last page ends at death! The writer determines what kind of book he/she has written. The writer plays the key character in the book. The writer never gets to read/hear the testimonies about the book because he/she would have been dead! Some books are stored forever in world libraries while some do not even last a week in individual libraries. Some books have sad endings while some have great endings. Some books we wish were never written while some we wish never ended. No author/ writer knows the day the last page of his/her book will be written. How long it takes to complete the book is not a function of how good /bad the author is. Some authors/writers can directly influence or be a catalyst to when his/her book will be completed. For example, it took 55 years for Ayo Babalola Collins (founder of Modern Day African Apostolic Revival) to finish his book; it took Murtala Mohammed (Nigerian ex-president) 37 years to edit and finish his book. It took Kwame Nkrumah 62 years to write his book. It took 50 years plus a couple of months for Michael Jackson to complete his book, while it took Princess Diana 36 years to complete hers! It’s so clear to the world what kind of book they all wrote; it’s now left for us to know in our hearts if their books were good or bad…Whatever comments we pass on them right now is a reflection of our understanding of their books and how long we want to archive them.
Always remember that what goes around…comes around, meaning that whatever comments we pass today or whatever things we say about any of these or other dead souls, there will be for sure a time when we will write the last page and end our own book. My question to every ODM user is…..How many people will wish that your book never ended or was never completed? Then the greatest question is: What will be the fate of the author? Heaven or hell? Live your life everyday knowing that one day, you will complete your book and the Almighty GOD who has the authority to judge if your book is bad or good is waiting patiently! Close with this good news: It’s not too late to make the right choice now that your book is still in the making! Pray seriously now!
