ODM 16 FEB 2021: I SHALL LOCATE MY CUPBEARER THIS YEAR!
BASIC SCRIPTURE: GENESIS 41: 8-16
8 And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.
9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
10 Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker:
11 And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.
12 And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.
13 And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.
14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.
15 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

Many of us are favoured, blessed and talented but we lack a cupbearer to tell the king that there is a “Joseph” (YOU) that can interpret his dreams. In life, who you know matters a lot. Sometimes, even if you know NOBODY, God will connect you to those He wants to use in your life. This is because relationship is a currency! God can connect them to you in a million ways – through a crisis, trough a friend, a family member, through an “accidental” meeting, etc. There are heights and opportunities you will never attain if you don’t understand the power of keeping valuable relationships. For example, when they say. “Turn and greet your neighbour in church,” you don’t even know who you are talking to. That might be the CEO of a big or promising company. But sometimes, we despise people based on their outward looks and judge them wrongly. That person you sit with in class, or the colleagues at work that you look down on, may be the ones that will lead you to your destiny helper because you have no idea who they know. Sometimes, it takes just a recommendation to change your story. Don’t despise men in life. You will need them one day. This is because sometimes, those who crown kings don’t look like kings and may never become kings but they can help you wear your crown. That was the case of Joseph and the CUPBEARER in today’s scripture. Gen 41:9-10: “Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, ‘I do remember my faults this day: Pharaoh was wroth with his servants and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker.” So Joseph was mentioned to PHARAOH by this Butler (the executive CUPBEARER to the king) Remember that he forgot Joseph for years! Please don’t write off people because they forgot you. In God’stime, you will be unstoppable and they will be restless! Arise today and declare to God: “Let my CUPBEARER LOCATE ME in 2021. Let the man who would mention my case in the palace appear quickly, O LORD.” Pray seriously now.
