It was Fred Rogers who penned: “Forgiveness is a strange thing. It can sometimes be easier to forgive our enemies than our friends. It can be hardest of all to forgive people we love.” It is harder forgiving people you love! But God will not ask you to do something He has not given you the ability and capacity to do! Yes, it’s hard to pray sincerely for God to forgive our enemies who humiliate and belittle us but today’s scripture is loaded as a summary with: “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good” – Vs. 21. Indeed, grudges are easy to hold and hard to let go of. But forgiveness can be a major part of reaching inner peace! SEEK YOUR INNER PEACE AND RELEASE SOMEONE TODAY! I remember Isabelle Holland: “As long as you don’t forgive, who and whatever it is will occupy a rent-free space in your mind.” WHY GIVE SOMEONE A RENT-FREE SPACE IN YOUR LIFE? Ah! Close with the late Nelson Mandela when he shook the world with these words after 27 years in prison: “As I walked out of my prison room toward the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn’t leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I’d still be in prison.” Wow! - I shall leave behind bitterness and anger! I walk into
my freedom from this day! I refuse to remain in the
PRISON OF REVENGE and INNER WAR! I possess
my INNER PEACE from this day! - Repent from unforgiveness today (Mention names
and release forgiveness to them now). - Unforgiveness will not block my testimony hour
