Yesterday’s devotional mentioned the donation of one billion dollars from the family of a dollar billionaire! Tuition at the school is nearly $59,000 (£46,500) each year, leaving students with substantial debts. But there was a bit of HUMOUR ADDED TO THE DONATION when the widow of the billionaire said: “I am very thankful to my late husband, David ‘Sandy’ Gottesman, for leaving these funds in my care. When he died, I wanted to fund students at Einstein so that they would receive free tuition. I hope he’s smiling and not frowning” she said. “He gave me the opportunity to do this, and I think he would be happy – I hope so.” Oh, that was humorous! And I believe the husband was “laughing” in his grave! The Holy Ghost wants you to be a GIVER TOO even from the little you have, because this world is all a “VANITY CIRCLE” from birth to death! See today’s scripture Vs. 17 – “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will He pay him again.” Did you get that? GOD WILL PAY YOU BACK WHATEVER YOU GIVE TO HELP THE NEEDY/POOR! Do you know that this family would have left all their monies for their children? But they did not do that! Ah! “The simplest acts of kindness are by far more powerful than a thousand heads bowing in prayer.” YOU CAN BEGIN BY HELPING US TO FEED THE HUNGRY/NEEDY VIA THE FOOD BANK PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME!
