Sarah worked at a big multinational company as a sales executive, earning her regular paychecks. However, when the company faced financial difficulties, they had to reduce their staff, and she was among those affected. She felt depressed for weeks and even stopped going to church and sowing her tithe, etc. One day, some colleagues called to say they missed the pastries she used to bring to work and asked if she could bring them some. Ah! She immediately remembered the words of Theodore Roosevelt – “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” And that was the moment Sarah decided to start her own baking business. Today, she is doing astoundingly well, making 10 times more than she had ever earned at the former company! Hear Apostle Paul in Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…” MARK THE WORDS: “ALL THINGS!” “ALL THINGS!” “ALL THINGS!” Yes! ALL THINGS – good or bad will end up announcing your destiny! Reject depression and self-pity, DESPITE YOUR FAILURES, LOSSES OR MISTAKES! God has NEVER USED perfect people! He uses “LIMPING PEOPLE” – ask JACOB after he wrestled with the angel! Was his hip not dislocated? Ah! God uses DISLOCATED PEOPLE! Listen: When God disrupts you, it is because He wants to REDEFINE YOU and change your name from JACOB to ISRAEL! Yes! Catch this – God cannot change your name for good without DISLOCATING SOME AREAS OF YOUR LIFE! Stop pitying yourself! Oh, child of God; JUST TRUST GOD’S PROCESS, even when the events of your life are not going your way! Close with this: “Never mistake God’s disruption for the devil’s chaos” (Rikki Ray). Something new is about to happen! HOLD ON! Trust!
