S hare with me this powerful fable: A mother camel and her baby were under a tree when the curious baby asked, “Why do we have humps?” The mother replied, “To store water so we can survive in the desert.” The baby thought a moment and then asked, “And why are our legs long?” The mother explained, “They help us walk through the desert.” Finally, the baby queried, “Why do we have long eyelashes?” “To protect our eyes from the sand,” she answered. After processing all this, the baby camel asked, “Then why are we here, in a Zoo?” Oh! What a heartbreaking question! The baby camel was wondering how they could be so endowed to thrive in the wild, yet were caged in a zoo. But that is also the story of many souls on planet earth! John 14:12 says: “… and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” That means you can do what JESUS DID AND DO EVEN MORE! STOP LOOKING DOWN ON YOURSELF! And don’t allow others to CAGE YOU! There is GREATNESS and POWER in you! Listen: You can have more than you’ve got, because you can become more than you are! No wonder Roy T. Bennett declared, “You were born to stand out, stop trying to fit in.” Hear me: There has to be more to life than where you are now! Don’t let stigmas, labels and people’s judgment confine you to a cage! Yes! Your mind is like a bird that has been locked in a cage for many years. It is time to break loose and fly because GREATER THINGS are AHEAD for your life, family and ministry! A bird in a cage is safe but God didn’t create birds for that! Very true! Take the word – “IMPOSSIBLE” from YOUR DICTIONARY! Rise up from depression, self-pity or self-comparison! You were created to FLY LIKE THE EAGLE and POSSESS YOUR POSSESSIONS! Close with Jordan Dane: “It’s better to die free than live life in a cage!” The world is waiting for you TO MANIFEST! Leave that cage! Tell the devil aloud 7 times now: “I CANNOT BE CAGED anymore!
