Hear the words of the father of faith (Abraham): “DO NOT TAKE MY SON BACK THERE.” In other words, “If she is not willing to leave her own people, her own past to pursue the glorious future that God has prepared for her, she is not worth being in this family.” Abraham was determined to keep the past where it belonged! No matter how 2024 has been, as long as you keep on romancing with your past, your future will continue to remain vague! Abraham was decisive; he was ready to focus on what was ahead. To Abraham, going back meant going back into idol worship. It meant going back into poverty, debt and slavery; it meant going back into the land of curses and evil covenants! It meant going away from Heaven’s best into Hell’s worst! HE REFUSED TO GO BACK! What does the past represent to you? Whatever it is, take the Word of God today and live by it. THERE IS NO LOOKING BACK AND THERE IS NO GOING BACK! You are not going back into sin! You are not going back into bad luck or rise and fall! You are not going back into DELAY, limitations and frustration! The past is over! A NEW SEASON IS NEAR! And it will burst forth! You shall be a tourist attraction in Jesus name!
