Some years ago, a research was conducted and it was established that for the majority of people, Friday was the favorite day of the week while Monday was the worst day of the week. It was also discovered that most heart attacks occurred on Mondays! The researchers concluded that a lot of people are working at jobs that they don’t like. People like this spend almost half of their day (i.e. 8: 00 am – 5:00pm), that is about 80% of their waking hours, and two-thirds of the whole month at a job and in a place where they are not enjoying themselves. They hate the job and they invest more time complaining, grumbling and thinking about every negative thing associated with that job. However, there are a few who are excited to get up out of bed every morning. Their job may not be exactly what they dreamt of having, but they know that every new day takes them closer to that dream job that they desire. That was the kind of attitude that David had (how would you love to have a job where your boss is always thinking of KILLING YOU?). That was the kind of job that David had, and HE COULD NOT RESIGN! Yet, he did that job faithfully and joyfully! No wonder he was called by God as ‘A MAN AFTER MY HEART.’ You must know that God honours faithfulness, so, you must be faithful with what you have now! Joseph was faithful as a slave boy, and he was promoted to be master of all that Potiphar had. He didn’t wait to become master before serving faithfully! Faithfulness always promotes! Today’s scripture Vs. 10 – Whatever your hands finds to do, do it with all your might. When you do, PROMOTION WILL COME SPEEDILY. Get ready! I see amazing promotions!
