Jeremiah, a mighty prophet, prayed in Jeremiah 20:14: “Cursed be the day I was born! Let the day not be blessed in which my mother bore me!” Ah! Job also opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth (Job 3: 1). Then in 1 Kings 19: 4, Elijah, the great ”prophet of FIRE” also prayed to die (today’s scripture): This was because, after THE FIRE came from heaven, what he expected was the PRAISE OF JEHOVAH and not the PAIN OF JEZEBEL! His expectation was disappointed. Listen, even if you have been disappointed IN THE PAST, refuse to die, because your best testimonies are still ahead! God has a plan even when things seem beyond your comprehension! See a great tomorrow! Disappointment only means A BETTER TIME/PLAN IS COMING! Be courageous! Always declare: “I am learning every day to allow the space between where I am and where I want to be to inspire me and not terrify me.” Always remember too that FEAR has two meanings: Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise! Don’t pray to die! Depression is not your name! Delay is not a denial! What the devil meant for bad will turn out for your good! Hold on and hold out!
