A devotional is a popular reminder of your life’s journey! I AM LED TO USE IT AGAIN for the sake of somebody! “A man took home a BUTTERFLY cocoon so he could watch the emperor moth (baby butterfly) emerge. As the moth struggled to get through the tiny opening, the man enlarged it with a snip of his scissors. The moth emerged easily, but its wings were shriveled. The struggle through the narrow opening is God’s way to force fluid from its body into its wings.” The “merciful” snip, in reality, was cruel! And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is, YOUR STRUGGLE WILL GIVE YOU WINGS TO FLY! Yes, sometimes in life the door of battles and struggles are not open in order to kill us, but to give us wings to fly. That is why no matter how the year has been and as 2024 marches to a close, you must hold on and hold out because every allowed struggle shall produce wings for you to navigate your way through the narrow paths of life! Oh! Sometimes, the struggle involves a holy striving against self, sin and the need to always please God! Sometimes the struggle is exactly what you need to become what God intends for you to be! STOP REGRETS! STOP THE TEARS! Vs. 1 says: “…Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” Then Vs. 4 suggests: “Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.” These verses describes the Christian life as a race that involves endurance, discipline, and correction. God’s strength is experienced in the strain of your struggles! Hold on and hold out!

Do your friends despise, forsake you?
