There was a man called Paul Galvin who at the age of 33 had failed twice in business. After his last failure, he painfully attended an auction sale of his own storage-battery business. Because he was stubborn and determined to win, he held on! During the auction sale, he bought back the battery-eliminator portion of the storage battery with his last $750 (about =N=102,000). The portion he bought became Motorola! Think about it! A big failure because of determination started Motorola Company! When he retired in the 1960s, he gave the world a million dollar advice: “Do not fear mistakes! You will know failure! Do not fear it! Continue to reach out! To expect life to be perfectly tailored to your specification is to live a life of continual frustration.” What an advice! God Himself experienced disappointment, a delay and a setback with Adam and Eve and the first generation of Homo Sapiens (Humans) – Genesis 6: 6-7. Did He give up on us? No! He began again with just a family! Be like your God! David McNally amplified this when he said: “The mistake/failure riddled life is much richer, more interesting, and more stimulating than the life that has never taken a risk or stand on anything!” Listen to Mr. S. F. Hayakawa: “Notice the difference between what happens when a man says to himself, ‘I failed three times,’ and what happens when he says, ‘I am a failure.’ I repeat: “Failure is not a person! You cannot be a failure till you agree.” The great Oswald Avery penned: “Whenever you fall, pick something up!”David Burns said, “Assert your right to make a few mistakes. If people can’t accept your imperfection, that’s their fault!” Dear child of God, dear pastor, dear fellow runner in the race of life,in this 2nd half of 2025, never forget that: “The call is higher than the fall.” Look up!
