ODM TOPIC: ACHIEVERS DO NOT JOKE WITH AMOS 6: 1 – PLEASURE TRAPS!
Amos 6:1: “Woe to them that are at ease in Zion.” Before you begin today’s devotional write-up, please pray the following 7 prayer points with holy aggression: 1. Father God, I refuse to be under any CURSE because of a life of LUKEWARMNESS AND EASE! REVIVE ME AGAIN! REVIVE ME AGAIN! 2. I withdraw my life, career, family, academics or ministry from the circle of confusion in Jesus name. I reject every DRY BONE! 3. Lord, whether the devil likes it or not, my life and ministry must remain organized in Jesus name. 4. You forces of stagnation, I withdraw, your control over my life, family and ministry in Jesus name. 5. I return to sender, all forces of confusion, depression and failure in Jesus name! 6. The 6 garments of Joseph shall PROMOTE me extraordinarily! Every RED SEA shall kiss the dust of my feet in Jesus name. 7. Still pray concerning your life and ministry now and also concerning this 2nd half of this year 2025! Note that the devil can use confusion of priorities to dry your life! Heaven is telling you that if you desire to succeed on this earth, you must organize and focus on your priorities/ life’s goals and keep your other passions under control! Amos 6:8 says, “I abhor the excellency of Jacob and hate his palaces (pleasures).” Too much craze for pleasure has turned many potential Kingdom stars to servants! A very successful businessman was asked to mention the secret of his success! He quickly wrote down the following: “After God and my family, my work comes first; pleasure comes after duty. To achieve my goals, I schedule my daily, weekly and monthly priorities and focus on them till I see them through.” Will you do the same? Draw a schedule of your programs and don’t allow Satan shoot in confusion by giving you many duties! From Amos 6:1, a life of ease and pleasure, devoid of planning, discipline, fasting, aggressive prayers, reading, purity, etc, is a curse! Update and organize your priorities and focus on them. Put pleasure, social media, TV, useless phone calls, etc, last! And you will run faster in life! (Prepare to join the upcoming 14-day fast: July 12th – July 25th). Reject laziness/ease/pleasure in Zion!
