Welcome! Share the story below with me! “Two young men had been friends from childhood. One was a Christian, the other was not. The second man was about to embark on a long ocean voyage, and the believer felt the urge to speak to him about Christ before he left. “I’ll do it on the way to the dock,” he promised himself. But when they got to the dock, he still didn’t do it. He went on board to say goodbye, and thought, “When we bring the baggage to his room, I’ll speak to him.” But the porter took the trunks and suitcases, so they did not visit the state room. Finally, he said to himself, “I’ll be sure to witness to him in some quiet place before the ship departs.” Suddenly, however, there came the announcement that all visitors must leave. Two months later, word came that the man had died overseas. So pathetic! I’m so sure you can relate to the story above. Many souls have been lost in the past because of our insensitivity and negligence to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Learn from Philip’s sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and the salvation of the Ethiopian man! Vs. 29 says: “Then the Spirit said unto Philip, ‘Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.” Procrastination most times leads to regrets and pain! When your spirit keeps prompting you about something or when a certain urge keeps popping up in your inner man, it is a sign that God is up to something and wants you to respond accordingly. You grow fast in your walk with God when you apply urgency to the Spirit’s leading! As 2024 ends, NEVER POSTPONE A DIVINE URGE TO PREACH THE GOSPEL EVEN TO CHURCH GOERS! Speak to someone about Christ before bedtime today/daily! Share the little mercies He has shown you!
