ODM TOPIC: OUTNUMBERED BUT NOT OVERPOWERED

Years ago, a Roman legion (army battalion) found themselves facing an enemy force with three thousand more soldiers. The opposing commander raised his voice and thundered, “Surrender now! You are outnumbered!” But the Roman general stood firm and replied, “We may be outnumbered, but we are not overpowered.” And guess what? The Romans won! Ah! On that day, numbers bowed to courage and that will be the story of your life, family and ministry. You cannot be OVERPOWERED by the gates of hell no matter any past, current or future battle! Halleluiah! I have come to realize that the devil’s most effective weapon is not power, not even close to it; his weapon is illusion (what is not real). What is SATANIC ILLUSION? It means the devil shouts, exaggerates, paints a picture that is not real and makes you feel, “IT IS OVER WITH YOU; give up now, you are beyond a miracle! You are finished! God has failed you!” Wow! His aim is to scare you into defeat! But, oh, child of God, REFUSE HIS LIES! He is the FATHER OF LIES! Refuse to panic at the devil’s roar! When Goliath roared, the army of Israel shook with fear; but David, just a boy with a sling, didn’t see a giant; instead, he saw a target! David knew something they did not: “The battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47). So while others measured Goliath’s size, David measured God’s strength. He wasn’t afraid of Goliath’s volume because he had confidence in heaven’s victory! He knew that ONE WITH GOD IS A MAJORITY! Hear David – “You come against me with sword and spear, but I come against you in the name of the Lord…” (1 Samuel 17:45). POWER! No wonder Kris Vallotton quipped, “You’re not fighting for victory – you’re fighting from victory.” Did you get that? Satan is a liar forever! Trust God! Hold on and hold out!

   God’s WORD and I shall NEVER end in shame!
3. Pray in Tongues now! Father, shatter the enemy’s false giants
   in my life. I stand bold! I am unbeatable in You!
4. Jesus, fill me with David’s faith. I am not fighting for victory but
   for Your triumph/victory.
