It was Henry Ford who said, “You cannot build any kind of reputation on what you’re going to do.” Never! “What you are going to do” if not done, can turn to the regret of “what you should have done.” Many people have great plans for the year when it started, but it only existed in their heads. Where is that New Year’s resolution of yours? Is it collecting dust already or gaining achievements? You cannot build a mansion on a foundation that only exists in your head—you need to break grounds! Proverbs 14:23 (NIV) says: “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” So true! The Bible verse says, “mere talk leads only to poverty.” Mere talk or wishful thinking is not just a waste of time, it is actually leading you into bitter poverty and struggles! You might think it’s just the poverty of money; no, it can lead to the poverty of sickness and oppression, and above all the poverty of hell. Baily Nili declared: “Confessing positivity into your life is not the same as working it out in action.” Before the last day of this year, TAKE AN ACTION OF FAITH! Tomorrow is not a good day to do it! Today is! Listen – Procrastination is the grave in which opportunities are buried! So fold those sleeves, get that resolution out, and begin to work again!
