Welcome to this hour of fresh power as we prepare to engage in another WORLDWIDE annual July 14-day fasting and prayers! Today’s scripture vs. 20 says: “Now to Him (God) who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, ACCORDING TO His power that is at work within us.” Note the words: “According To His Power That Is At Work Within Us.” This scripture says that God answers your prayers ACCORDING TO His power WORKING IN YOU. So, God does not answer prayers according to the power working in Him but the power working in us! The words “according to” suggest that prayer is answered in proportion to something. That “something” is “God’s power that is at work within you!” In other words, God will answer your prayers according to the amount of power that is currently at work within your spirit. Oh, I feel like jumping off and dancing on this writing desk again! Did you get that? God Uses The Power Working Within You To Answer Your Own Prayers! That means if there is little power working within you (your spirit), then God does little for you. If there is a lot of power working within you (your spirit), then God does a lot for you. It’s that simple. What fasting does is that: It Enables Your Spirit To Generate Lots Of Power Within You Which God Can Use To Change Your Story! That means GOD HAS CREATED YOU BUT YOUR DESTINY IS IN YOUR HANDS! The power God will use to fight for you in this your one life, is inside of you; it is not in God!A man or woman who fasts, generates lots of power within and so God does more in them! Oh, lift your hands now and pray: 1. O Lord, grant me the grace to fast from time to time and to generate enough energy for You to use in my life, family and ministry! 2. Holy Spirit, bring out the power within me as I fast and pray this season. 3. My God, do more than I can ask or imagine in this upcoming 2nd half of this year in Jesus name. I shall fast and pray and there shall be a great “RED SEA TO RAINBOW” joy in my life/ministry! Amen!
