A sister in the LORD came to me recently crying. She said, “I joined my place of work the same day as a colleague. But God in His mercy made me gain promotion twice before her. Ever since then, she keeps spreading terrible rumours about me, that I am sleeping around with the bosses. I want to retaliate with rumours sir.” Immediately I shouted a big “NO!” I immediately remembered George Bernard Shaw: “Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.” Note the part that says “…and the pig likes it.” Proverbs 26:4 (NIV) says, “Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him.” And guess what? The fool loves being foolish! Ah! It is a disaster when you decide to go with the enemy down the rabbit hole! Matthew 5:11-12 (NIV) says, “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven.” NOTE THIS: There Are More Blessings When You Leave The Fight To God. The Victory Is Certain, Because God Has Never Lost A Battle! But if you think you can fight a pig in the mud, then know that you cannot shame the shameless. Your enemies want to pull you down to their level because they are down already! Remember Frank Sinatra: “The best revenge is massive success.” Hear me: In 2025, your success will send an enemy to an early grave! Hold on! Trust God!
