Basic Scripture for Today 12 SEPTEMBER 2025 Prayer points and Declarations
Please start today’s devotional by praying the following points: (1) My children and I shall not die in the wilderness of life! (2) My children and I shall fulfill our destines in Jesus name! A school in Germany once banned the former bestselling adventure of “teenage wizard” Harry Potter, saying the book authored by J.R. Rowling, promotes evil, witchcraft and magic. The former Christian principal, Bert Langerak of the Maranatha Christian School, says however that the popular novels Macbeth and Hamlet would be allowed because, evil is portrayed as evil and not as good in these two novels, whereas Harry Potter, the boy who had a vision to become the best possible wizard, is presented as good in the book series. The series – “Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix” or “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” or “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” are considered bestsellers around the world! In fact in Africa, children cartoons, CDs and most Christian homes are innocently being thrilled by Harry Potter which are considered as “magic turbo-charged brooms.” Oh! Dear believer, remember that the Anti-Christ is seeking eagerly after the younger generation! He knows he cannot get the “MOSES GENERATION,” so he is targeting the “JOSHUA GENERATION!” God is using today’s devotional to remind you that He needs the children! They are the future apostles, evangelists, pastors, teachers and prophets of God’s end-time move. If we lose the battle for the children, then we have lost the Joshua generation! Remember that truly, the Moses generation disgraced Pharaoh and humiliated Egypt! They tasted signs and wonders! But also remember that most of them including Moses, did not enter the Promised Land! It was those born in the wilderness (most did not taste the bondage in Egypt) that captured the Promised Land! I call them, “The Joshua generation!” Any child born into a Christian home is a target of Satan! Pray daily for your children and aggressively monitor what they read, or watch! Know their friends!
