NSPPD DEVOTIONAL GOD OF WONDERS
“9. And all the people saw him walking and praising God: 10. And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.” (Acts 3: 9-10)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when those who saw the lame man after he had been healed, recognized him as the one who once begged for alms at the gate of the temple. They saw what God did for him and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what the Lord had done. They saw what the Lord had done, and it was too good to be true. They saw what the Lord had done, and it was all shades of mind-blowing wonders.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are about to receive that miracle that will be a wonder to many. You are about to receive that miracle that will cause men to recount where you began and where you are now at. You are about to receive that miracle that will amaze those who knew you before your miracle arrived. You are about to receive that miracle that will get men talking about the greatness of God. Your miracle will be loud.
The same people who had seen the lame man sitting and begging for alms, suddenly saw him walking and praising God. His status changed right before their very eyes. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the same men who have seen you in your low estate, right before their very eyes, heaven will cause your status to change. The same eyes that saw you in tears, God will cause them to see you in joy. Your story will shock your spectators.
Welcome to your season of congratulations. Welcome to that season where your story will rapidly and dramatically change for good. Welcome to that season where men that saw you before will be shocked to see what the Lord has done for you. Welcome to that season where the works of God in your life will put you in the news. Welcome to that season where men will see the mighty deeds of El Roi in your life and be amazed.
The next wonder that will arise out of the throne of God has your name on it. You are the next recipient of the wonders of God. God will use your life to amaze men.
Psalm 65: 5 says: “By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:”
