Welcome to the month of celebration! The Daily Telegraph of London reported that astronomers have worked out that there are 70 thousand million and seven followed by 22 zero stars visible from the earth by telescope!
The astronomers from America, Australia and Scotland counted all the galaxies in one small region of the universe close to the earth and estimated how many stars each contained! Dr. Simon Drivers of Australia who led the team at that time said, “Even for a professional astronomer, used to dealing in monster numbers, this discovery is mind-boggling.” With the naked eye, only a few thousand stars can be seen from the darkest place on earth and only 100 from a large city. Ah! Dear child of God, are you not excited that men are just discovering the awesomeness and power of your God? Are you not excited that your God is the Creator of all that mind-boggling number of stars? Do you know that there are still more undiscovered stars and galaxies? Put your confidence daily on this God. No matter the problems or trials you go through, always remember that you serve the Almighty God with whom all things are possible. When you consider the entire world His Hands have made, you must kill anxiety, worry, confusion and doubt! Vs. 26b of today’s scripture talks of the greatness of His might! Remember that after Edwin Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon on 20th, July 1969, the sight he saw was so awesome that the first thing he did was to make an unplanned sign of the cross and he urinated in his pants immediately due to the awe-inspiring sight of the moon! Thank God he was wearing a DIAPER! If this God who created the moon be for you, who (what) can be against you? Major on the opportunities of life (see the bigness of God) and not the obstacles. Stop looking at where you have been or what you have been! Start looking at God and where you are going! Satan is in trouble concerning your life and ministry!
