Welcome to this new month of November 2025! There is a sport called surfing, where athletes use a surfboard to glide on sea and ocean waves. It is interesting to watch. In this sport, they look for storms!

They pray to have high tides, not calm seas. Because no wave, no thrill. No wave, no conquest! Wow! NO STRESS, NO SUNSHINE; NO PAIN, NO GAIN! NO CHAOS, NO CONGRATULATIONS! Oh! I feel like jumping for joy because I know a user of today’s devotional is on a trip to a SPECIAL TESTIMONY no matter the “TESTI-TRIAL!” Ah! Caleb declared to Joshua at 85- years-old, “Give me this mountain”(Joshua 14:12). What? Caleb didn’t ask for rest or reward after years of war. Instead, he asked for a battlefield—a chance to conquer what others ran from. In Joshua 15:13-14, he drove out the giants – Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai. At 85! He was like a surfer begging for higher tides. When you understand the reward of trials, you will be declaring, “Give me this mountain,” “Oh you mountain, you shall become a PLAIN by force!” “Oh you mountain; you shall become a PLAIN and I shall PASS THROUGH you to my Promised Land.” Ah! Still catch this: Your next lifting may be hiding in your next storm. Ride it! Conquer it! Stand tall on it! DON’T QUIT! No wonder James declared, “Count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of their faith worketh patience” (James 1:2-3). Note: “worketh patience.” “worketh…” “Worketh…” Your trial is your STAFF! It is WORKING FOR YOU!” Wow! Halleluyah! It is working out something GREAT ahead for you! Remember this: “Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors” (African proverb). Like surfers, do not fear waves; you must NEVER “over worry” concerning that wave, that tide and that storm! I just heard this: “Your Good News is very near!” Hold on and hold out!
