I listened to the song titled, “You waited” by Travis Greene and it touched me. It’s a song that talks about how God had patiently waited for him, watching him stray until he found his way to the God that truly loved him.
Glory! The song ministers to me a lot. But the big question for you is, has He not waited long enough for you to come to Him and completely give yourself to Him? To immerse your totality in Him? If you are partly for God and partly for the world, then you are still making Him to wait.
Daily Manna Devotional 7 December 2023 – HAS HE NOT WAITED ENOUGH?
There is no such thing as partly for Christ and partly for the world. You will be like the man chasing two rabbits; you will lose both, because attention that is shared is one that is not given. Today’s 2nd scripture says “If you are neither hot or cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.”
The word used there is not, “I may” or “I might consider,” it says “I will spit you out.” Note again: I WILL! I WILL! I WILL SPIT YOU OUT! Don’t allow that! There was a lady who worked with a Real Estate company.
On the side, she had her personal business that she was also dealing with, and it was also in Real Estate. The company discovered her side business and they did not mind because she was doing her job diligently. However, since there was a clash of interest, they sent her off. This is like spitting her out because of her shared interest.
Likewise, there is no way you seek for God’s miracle and you decide to also try alternative methods. I see 21, 450 ODM users in that category – DOUBLE DEALING WITH GOD! The LORD says: STOP! STOP! STOP! JUST TRUST ME AND WAIT! The LORD feeds on your faith/reliance!
When you share yourself between two sources, God gives you space to decide what you want. He waits and watches until you find your way back. As 2023 ends, use today’s devotional to rededicate yourself. He has waited enough and He is still waiting because He wants to work with you and work on you!
