TOPIC: KILOMETERS IN YOUR HUMAN BODY! GREAT GOD!
Basic Scripture: Psalm 139: 7-18
Use today’s devotional to trust God for any pressing problem! He is more than enough! Consider the human faces of the 7.7 billion people on planet earth! It is amazing that God, with just ordinary dust could “manufacture” these multitudes with very few look-alikes. Indeed, He is more than enough! Doctors have recorded that the average life span worldwide is 76 years. Read ODM 16 October 2018 – Topic: “THE TEACUP LESSON: PROBLEMS ARE MESSAGES!” – Click here

The human heart beats on an average of 70 times per minute. That is 4, 200 times per hour, 100, 800 times per day and 2, 822, 400 heartbeats per month. If you take the average life span and multiply per minute, that would come to more than 2.7billion (2, 796, 182,400) heartbeats in the person’s life span. Is that not wonderful? – Today’s scripture. Consider also the fact that the heart is nothing more than a muscle with 2 ventricles and 4 arteries (veins).
The heart never rests and has been working since you were born. That’s a great reason to be positive in life! Your heart never gives up why should you? Just a little diversion now to Geography: The circumference of Earth at the equator is about 24,902miles (40,075km), but from pole-to-pole – the meridional circumference – Earth is only 24,860 miles (40,008 km) around. This shape, caused by the flatting at the poles, is called an oblate spheroid.
But do you know that if you measure a human body’s blood vessel which consists of all arteries, veins, and capillaries, the length would be between 90,000 and 150,000 kilometers in length, depending on the person’s age? That means the length of blood vessels in your body can stretch around the world about three times, consider your lungs! The average person takes 20 breathes/min. That is 1,200/hour, 28,800 per day and 806, 400 per month. When you multiply that by the average life span, a person takes nothing less than 789 million (789,912,000) breaths of air in a lifetime.

Oh, lift up your hands and just worship the greatness of your God now! He is beautiful beyond description. Too marvelous for words! What can’t this God do? Scientists have agreed that the greatest architectural piece in the universe is the human body. No wonder today’s scripture Vs 14 declare: “…I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” You were WONDERFULLY made because God wants you to be a wonder and not a pity!
As 2018 ends, never forget that the God who made your body is working concerning your destiny! Hear Gordon A.J.: “The hours of this present life are the ages in embryo of the life to come.” Therefore hold on to your Creator and to your dreams! I prophesy: You will be food for thought for many generations in Jesus name amen! Amen and amen! Pray now!
