In the first year of operation, Coca-cola, the worldwide beverage company sold only fifty dollars worth of drinks. The company started in 1886, and the drink was sold to the public at the soda fountain in a pharmacy shop in Atlanta, U.S.A.

About seventy dollars was invested in expenses during that first year! COCA -COLA WAS AT LOSS AT THE END OF THE FIRST YEAR OF OPERATION. Here is the story and here is why you must NEVER GIVE UP: John Stith Pemberton was an American pharmacist and Confederate States Army veteran who is best known as the inventor of Coca-Cola.
In May 1886, he developed an early version of a beverage that would later become Coca-Cola, but sold its rights to the drink shortly before his death in 1888. John Stith Pemberton, my professional colleague(a pharmacist), sold his Coca-cola formula to Asa Candler for $2,300, and after about three years, it became one of America’s most popular fountain drink.

John Pemberton came up with his Coca-cola formula; he had invented many drugs and pharmaceutical products but he never made money out of them. He was an inventor and he kept on working and working BUT SOLD THE FORMULA just bfore his death! Today, an estimated 2.8 billion bottles of the drink are sold everyday.
When a man sticks to his dreams, he will eventually meet with great success. Hear Robert Brault, “Stubbornly persist, and you will find that the limit of your stubbornness go beyond the stubbornness of your limits.” See Vs. 12 of today’s scripture and note the word: FAITH and PATIENCE!
