TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL TOPIC 22 FEB 2021- LESSONS FROM THE GRAVEYARD!
BASIC SCRIPTURES: PSALM 30: 3;
3 O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
JOHN 11: 31-45
31 The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.
32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled.
34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
35 Jesus wept.
36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Our Daily Manna 22 February 2021
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

YESTERDAY- Our Daily Manna 21 February 2021 – ONLY HIS WRIST WATCH WAS DAMAGED! BE COVERED!
Sometimes, some people describe their lives this way: CRUEL as death and HUNGRY as the GRAVE! Yes, the GRAVE is HUNGRY and never satisfied, but do you know that some spend a whole life digging their graves? When you WORRY Over what you cannot change, you are digging your grave! When you are BITTER and live in UNFORGIVENESS, u are digging your grave! When you contend against a prophet of God, you are digging your grave! Yes! When you dishonor your parents or their memory, you are a grave digger! When you want to live like an island. you are digging a deep grave for yourself! Even the LORD Jesus called Lazarus from the grave but He asked for the people around Him to help move the stone and remove the grave clothes. If Jesus could call Lazarus from the grave, couldn’t He have commanded that rock to move from the front of the gravesite and it would have moved? Yes! Here are three lessons from the graveyard: “Life is too short” In this early year, 2021, walk around a graveyard once in a while. There you will see babies, teenagers, young kids in their 20’s or below fill that place. People who probably spent most of their time here, worrying about bills Wondering about what they’re going to do with their lives, who they’re going to marry, who/what they will become, etc. Then before they know it, life takes them away from this planet. Leaving their family crushed, leaving those bills unpaid, literally killing any future that they spent so much time worryng about. “Enjoy the people you have; one day God’s going to need them back.” Live your life for you and no one else! Ultimately, death is inevitable. When we are in the ground, and our family is staring at the patch of grass that covers our coffins, and the nice, shiny stones that sit on it, do you want them to look at all you have left of this world and think. “He/she never spent time or cared about us? Be fearless. Be bold. Make a difference. A graveyard shows you just how much you have to be thankful for, good or bad. AT LEAST YOU ARE ALIVE! Don’t let people say about you: “She/he had so much potential: he/she could have done so much.” Determine to make an impact Don’t wait until it’s too late; don’t spend six months in a graveyard full of regret. Get up and be beautiful, be bold, be determined- never-quitting person. generation. God created you to leave a mark for your generation. Dust yourself off and move on. You will overcome! This is your year.
