Welcome to today’s devotional hour! We have seen that the head is the top part of the human body. And it contains the brain, which is the “chief sense coordinator” of all the human senses.

Today, we shall see another reason why the head is under attack! The head is not just under attack because it signifies glory, but also because of the things that it carries, which indudes the mouth. Apart from enabling feeding, the mouth also represents our vocal abilities by the virtue of the tongue.

Now all these are what the mouth is and represents physically, but spiritually, the mouth is an extremely powerful thing by the virtue of the tongue which it carries. Everything God created except man, was created with word and vocal power which lies in the tongue of the mouth. But when God made man, He did not only make man in His own image but after His likeness, according to GENESIS 1:26 and GENESIS 5:1.

Himself, giving man the same vocal power, which lies in the tongue of the mouth. This makes man a LITTLE “god” in his own right (PSALM 82:6, ISAIAH 41:23 and JOHN 10:34). One major characteristic that makes God who He is, is the power to create and destroy with His mouth (tongue). And guess what?

You possess that power also! Never forget this: Words (your tongue) are powerful; so it can create or it can destroy. So, choose your words wisely. This is also why your head comes under such attacks as: reluctance to read your Bible, knowing and exercising the power you possess through your tongue by praying. Satan would do anything to keep you from pages 38 and 39 of this booklet which contain the UNFAILING PROMISES FOR ACHIEVERS!

But thank God for today’s 1stt Basic Scipture( Vs19): Behold I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions…” This means, you can win over every attack in your head/tongue because you are carrying the needed DIVINE DYNAMITE to crush demonic scorpions and serpents. As you put your tongue to use again today, deliverance is sure for your head, in Jesus name.

Anything in my foundation that attracts evil arrows to my head, be destroyed now, in Jesus name. Pray about today as led now.
