Today’s Basic Scripture Vs. 29, is such an outstanding scripture. It makes it clear what the future holds for you. You have been predestined to be conformed to the image of the son of God, that is Jesus Christ. This means that a time is coming when you will look exactly like Him. You have heard it that, a lion gives birth to a lion. A dog gives birth to a dog. An eagle never gives birth to a chicken. This Simply Means That God Gives Birth To “gods.” If God Is A Winner, Then Every Child Of His Is Destined To Be A Winner In Life. There is nothing the devil can do to change God’s mind about that. However, he can stop you and limit you from living up to the fullness of your calling. Saul, the king of Israel, was predestined to win. The devil raised up the philistines and brought them to attack Saul. Saul could not stand up to the challenge. He was afraid. The Bible says that ‘Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, and they were dismayed, and greatly afraid’. Fear always comes from the enemy, and it has one mission: to stop you from fulfilling your destiny. Fear will turn you into a loser overnight. Never tolerate it in your life. If you are always listening to the voice of the enemy, and the voice of opposition, you will never be able to stop fear from stopping you. Oh! I love what Eleanor Roosevelt says: “We gain strength, courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes.” Step out, face your fears and do something this year! You were predestined to win! Don’t let the enemy stop you. Keep in mind these words by Norman Vincent Peale: “Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps different actions or adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all.” Just keep moving! Hold on and hold out and fear will fear you! Remember this month is the ODM ANNUAL month of MERCY! It is a Month dedicated to do Charity work and to show Practical Love! This should be done throughout the month wherever you are! It should involve visiting Orphanages, Hospitals, Elderly people’s homes, etc.
