Verse 4 of today’s Basic Scripture says, ‘then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building.’ If you are doing something and you are not faced with opposition, you need to check with God again!!! God’s work always faces opposition. However, His work will prevail and succeed no matter how hard and stiff the opposition is. I love the words of Henry Ford, “When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.” Aircraft experts explain that when an airplane flies INTO the wind, it causes the wings of the plane to move more quickly through the air without increasing the speed of the aircraft. The contrary winds help to speed up the upward movement of the aircraft. Here is what this tells me:Without The Opposing Wind, The Aircraft Will Have To Struggle More Before It Can Be Lifted Off The Ground. In The Same Way, If You Don’t Face Oppostion, You May Not Be Lifted Higher Into Your Place Of Greatness And Glory. Zerubbabel and his people were faced with opposition continually, but THEY WAXED STRONGER AND STRONGER IN THE FACE OF OPPOSITION. No matter how the year has been, no matter how hard your battles have been, live like Zerubbabel who refused to give up. Stir up your strength today and KEEP ON MOVING. Opposition was allowed to properly position your destiny! Be the next Zerubbabel! Determine to hold on! I see a greater tomorrow for your life, family, career, business, academics and ministry in Jesus name! Pray now!
