TOPIC: THIS FROG WAS “DEAF.” BE DEAF TO THE WORLD!
BASIC SCRIPTURES: JEREMIAH 29: 4-11;
4 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;
5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;
6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.
7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

8 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.
9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the Lord.
10 For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

As a group of frogs were traveling through the woods, two of them fell into a deep pit. When the other frogs crowded round the pit and saw how deep it was, they told the two frogs that there was no hope left for them. However, the two frogs decided to ignore what the others were saying and they proceeded to try and jump out of the pit. Despite their efforts, the group of frogs at the top of the pit were still saying that they should just give up. That they would never make it out. Eventually, one of the frogs took heed to what the others were saying and he gave up, falling down to his death. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, “Did you not hear us?” The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time. Did you get that? In this allegory (a story, poem, or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden moral or political meaning). see the bright side of everything happening! The frog chose to see COURAGE instead of discouragement! Wow! In this year 2022, DETERMINE TO BE DEAF TO ANYTHING NEGATIVE! People’s words can have a big effect on your life! Always remember Jeremiah 29: 11 and ignore what the world is saying! God has a PLAN for your EXPECTED END! No matter the matter, CHOOSE TO BELIEVE GOD and not the doctor, your haters, your age or your nation’s economy, etc. What God cannot do does not exist and has not been created and cannot be created!
