Most constitutions in the world contain serious sections on the wellbeing and security of her ciltizens! It may be framed in words similar to this: Section 14(2) (b) of the Constitution of my country for example, states: “Security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government. In this declaration, the security and welfare of the people are conjunctively presented as a sole purpose. Accordingly, the primary purpose of government is seen as one but it has two interwoven limbs, namely: the security of the people and the welfare of the people.” Notably, the deployment of the adjective “primary” in the said constitutional declaration suggests that the security and welfare of the people shall be the main or principal purpose of government. Wow! This means the safety of an individual and the people is the supreme law. Therefore, whatever law that would endanger the safety of an individual or people is subjective. The safety of the people overrides anything else.” Oh, I sometimes wish I had read Law combined with Pharmacy! But think of a human institution boldly declaring human safety and security as supreme law. “Supreme” means: “The highest.” But don’t forget that Jehovah is higher than the highest! Psalm 87:5 says: “And of Zion it shall be said, ‘This and that man was born in her: and the highest Himself shall establish her.” To establish means to protect and to preserve! That means the highest Himself shall preserve and protect anyone in Zion (You)! That also means the Supreme Court of heaven has declared before your creation, that your safety is supreme. God will never toy with your security in this year 2023. Reading through today’s scriptures and reading Isaiah 43: 1-5 capped with Psalm 91, is the safety and security insurance company I ever needed on land, air, or sea as I journey through planet earth. Same goes for you. Psalm 105: 14-I5 says: “He suffered no man (did not allow any man, armed robber, witch, or enemy) to do them (His children) wrong (evil) saying, “Touch not mine anointed…” Why? Because Zechariah 2:8b declares that: “he that toucheth you, toucheth the apple of His eye.” I feel like leaping and dancing on this writing table again! Joel 2:3 says, “A fire devoureth before you and behind you a flame burneth…” Fear not! Stay in Zion! Stay in God and your end shall be bliss!
