“ Jonah the LONG-DISTANCE RUNNER,” the prophet of God in 820 B.C during the reign of king Jeroboam 11, once prayed to die because God took away his GOURD PROTECTIVE PLANT COVER and exposed him to the “heat of life.” OH, THE HEAT AND BATTLES OF LIFE! Ah, determine that you will not QUIT! Catch this: When you feel that you are about to have A BREAKDOWN, REALIZE THAT YOU ARE JUST ONE STEP AWAY FROM YOUR BREAKTHROUGH! Jonah fainted and said it was better for him to die than to live. This was because, after his assignment and DOING HIS BEST, what he expected was a HEART OF LOVE and not the HEAT OF LIFE! That was disappointment on the pulpit. Disappointments are both good and bad because every disappointment is sometimes a “blessing in disguise.” Ah, catch this now: Everything is not God-sent, everything is God-used! God uses everything as His raw material to manufacture your Promised Land. Some disappointments are God’s “appointment letters” to your future throne. That is why you must not allow depression or be afraid of your tomorrow! Hold on and hold out!
