It was Winny Bee who quipped, “Every time you give the devil a listening ear, you hand him the keys to your destiny!” YES! The greatest fall in history did not start with eating the fruit; it started with a dialogue (Genesis 3:1). Eve could have shut THE DEVIL down with, “It is written!” But she entertained him! She reasoned! She replied! One conversation ignited confusion! Confusion birthed compromise! Compromise exploded into catastrophe! Eden lost! Paradise gone! Not because the fruit was too sweet, but because the serpent was too welcomed! You do not negotiate with a thief! You don’t debate with a robber! Any dialogue with darkness is already defeat! Ah! Catch this: The devil is only as dangerous as you permit him to talk! He peddles half-truths, whispers “just once,” and turns logic into a weapon! He only needed Eve to listen! She listened, then she looked, then she lusted, then she took, ate and she died spiritually! Listening was the open gate! Samson in Judges 16 didn’t fall in battle, he fell on a pillow! Delilah didn’t chain him; she chatted him down! “Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth?” Persistent nagging! Repeated explanations! Each answer leaked his secret until the anointing departed! Samson welcomed the conversation that killed him! Remember Judas Iscariot? He did not suddenly stab Jesus in the back. He negotiated first! Matthew 26:15 says, “What will ye give me, and I will deliver Him unto you?” Thirty pieces of silver! One conversation with the enemy turned a disciple into a, “devil” (a betrayer)! Catch this again: Conversations with the devil are equal to being unequally yoked with an UNBELIEVER! The moment you pause to explain yourself to temptation, you have already surrendered territory! Silence is warfare! Refusal is power! End the discussion! USE AND DECLARE: “IT IS WRITTEN” DAILY!Resist thoughts of depression or low self-esteem when life happens! I see you winning and overcoming many more mountains! DETERMINE TO HOLD ON! NEVER QUIT! AND HOLD OUT! Start planning to attend the next PHYSICAL ANOINTING SERVICE at the Manna Mountain Lagos!
