It is obvious now more than ever our country needs God’s intervention. Our nation needs repentance, healing, and God’s grace to overcome the:
Hatred,
Economic Crisis,
Ethnicity ,
Immorality,
The Problem of Amalgamation,
Inequality,
The Internet Land Conflict
Poor Resources Management,
Corruption,
Terrorism,
Unemployment,
Insecurity,
Port Infrastructure,
Education System,
Inconsistent Economic System, and many others that has plagued our land and people. Let us pray for our countrymen with love and compassion that God is sovereign over all rulers, powers and principalities of this world.

The Lord says: “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

PRAYER FOR OUR COUNTRY
Almighty God,
Ruler of all the peoples of the earth,
forgive our shortcomings as a nation,
purify our hearts to see and love the truth,
give wisdom to our leaders,
and steadfastness to our people,
and bring us at last
to that fair city of peace

whose foundations are mercy,
justice, and goodwill,
of which you are the designer and builder;
through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

KEEP US IN PEACE
Keep us in peace, O Christ our God,
under the protection of your Holy Cross;
save us from our enemies, visible and invisible,
that we may glorify You with thanksgiving,
with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and forever.

For favorable weather, for an abundance of the fruits of the earth, and for peaceful times, let us pray to the Lord.

For those who travel by land, sea and air, for the sick, the suffering, the captives, and for their salvation, let us pray to the Lord.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION THROUGH THE ELECTION
Father of heavenly lights we pray for our nation in the coming election.
As we choose our leaders guide us by your commandments and teach us not to put our trust in mortal men who cannot save,
but to trust you alone for every good and perfect gift.
Lord Jesus, you are the King of kings
